During the full-day sessions the advisor will offer valuable insight into how CPAs and other financial advisors can help protect their clients and firms/companies collections from electronic attacks.This session will also cover how to assess electronic commerce risk; fundamental computer security techniques; E-Commerce assurance and consulting opportunities; and how to prepare efficient assurance plans, programs and methods. In addition, participants will review current information technology trends and strategies; learn how to design controls to protect sensitive systems and data; and how to evaluate and test the effectiveness of internal controls. As organizations debt develop their strategic business plans, they incorporate performance measurement systems to assist managers and employees achieve the organization''s strategic objectives and goals. The seminar will address how to develop and apply the measurement process (i.e. strategy, design, implementation and realignment); the importance of aligning strategic plans to measures; and how to assess the reliability of information being reported from the organization''s performance measurement system. Individuals will also learn how to assess the relevance of the performance measures as to how well they inform management about achievement of the performance objectives they have set, and how to provide advice on how the organization can improve their performance measurement system and their actual results.
